Lost Admiral Returns

Player's Manual - Missions

Battleships are lots of fun in Lost Admiral Returns. Unlike most Battleship Games, you can maneuver these massive killing machines to dominate the battle ocean. You can also enjoy the flavor of famous wwii battleship combat with your choice of famous ships such as the Yamato battleship, Battleship New Jersey, Battleship Texas, Battleship Missouri, or any other battleship that comes to mind.

Reward points from Missions and STA Campaign

Every battle you fight will earn useful reward points to help you in future battles.  Use these bonuses to give you a needed edge in tougher battles, particularly when helping to Save the Admiral.

Your rewards are accumulated and tracked separately for battles you fight inside a "Save the Admiral" Campaign vs any battles you fight outside of that Campaign.

 Most common are "Reward Points":

Type: Initials: Used for: Limit:
Perk Points pp Buying and improving Flagships none
Clout Points pc or c Earning new flagship ability modules none
State Points st or s Used to attempt State Battles in the STA Campaign.  Also used to buy extra turns for missions during STA Battles. 30 max
Bribe Points br or b Used in STA Campaign to make tough battles a bit easier.  Also used to buy extra turns for missions during STA Battles. 20 max

Note that any reward points you earn past the given limit for that type will "roll over" and be added to your Perk Point totals.

You can also earn "Special Plays" to use in tougher battles to give you an edge:

Type: Initials: Used for: Limit:
Call for Reinforcements rein Gives you a group of new ships somewhere on the edge of the current battle map. 3
Spy spy Reveals the location of several enemy ships 3
Traitor trait Causes several enemy ships to mutiny and join your side 3
Saboteur sabot Sabotages several enemy ship's engines, preventing them from moving on their next turn. 3
Influence inf Used on STA Campaign Map only - Reduces the resistance of States next to States you have already swayed to your side. none

You will also earn "Flagship Ability Modules" that are stockpiled until you need them.  You can have up to three of any given power level and type of module.  Modules earned beyond this limit are converted to Perk Points.  See the "Flagship Abilities" page for more information on these modules.

Lastly, your progress towards earning new Flagship Modules is tracked in three categories simultaneously.  All Clout Points you earn from battles are counted simultaneously towards these three categories at the very end of battles.  Each time progress is checked on modules at the end of a battle, your newly earned Clout points are added to your progress, and then zeroed out.  Note that Clout points earned from posting Internet High Scores, or from bonus rewards on the STA Campaign map will not be counted towards your new module progress till the end of your next battle.  See the "Flagship Abilities" page for more information on these modules.
